At times I say wise things…

I say wise things
I say the truth is in not what you think or what you feel
I say the truth is in action and the words that you say
I say wise things
Like when blood boils, and the passion runs like puss
Like when you feel over whelmed and the heat strikes your bones and the best you can do is a hug or a kiss,
I say wise things
I say the blood runs thick as the drinks run thin
As the passion seems strong while the thoughts are repressed, as the impulse guides the actions intense, as the drinks or the urge, cling to the breath,
as the emotions ring true to action or thought
as the net of impulse catches the flies you’ve caught
I say wise things
Like the guts in your stomach
Ring true to the telling of an old man’s wisdom
Or a child striking out in an unobserved corner
I say wise things and the ants gather at the picnic
I say wise things and
I am left alone with only wise things to say
As the impulsive live on
